Smile Dump the Gullwing antenna

I just replaced the stock Gullwing TV antenna and replaced it with a new Rayzor Air from Wynguard for$50. Took 15 minutes to change out the head and arms and now I have fantastic digital TV and many more stations! Do yourself a favor and change it! NASCAR race never looked so good!

iPad won't let me post a picture, when I get home next weekend and on a full size computer I'll post a picture. Mean time checkout their website.

By the way I used the stock amp that was in the MH. Couldn't see spending another$99 for theirs which would be up behind the TV anyway were you couldn't see it anyway!

The prices for these parts isn't too bad on Amazon. I ran the amp in my old Navion View. I was intrigued by the rayzar aire. Good to hear it made a significant difference.

Might be a good ideal to take extra time to read the reviews before you go to buy and then install. Just my opinion.

If you know the difference between an analog TV signal and a digital signal and the different types and ranges of antennas there are. This one is a good choice!

Who;e I am not unhappy with the full wing so far, I am interested in it also for the ability to easily mount my WiFi booster antenna.

The gull wing is performing on par with my gull wing and updated amp that I had in my old unit. Although we rarely were still for too long to watch broadcast TV when we took our trip to Alaska in July.

Over the air signal antenna come In 3 categories, 30 miles, 60 mile, and 120 mile or fringe area. This one is Better than the 60 mile one, from where I live and the stations I am pulling in , and it is bi-directional. Hope this helps

No Rayzor found on the Winegard site...maybe it's another brand?

Just looked at a 2016 Redhawk... Wow, the gull wing antenna is GONE! Replaced with a fixed digital unit with a signal meter. No more cranking up a gull wing!

I've only cranked our standard antenna up twice (rainy days with young grandkids) and both times it pulled in numerous stations, all broadcasting digital signals. If it ever gets used (and damaged) I'd obviously replace it, otherwise I'm happy with what I've got.

Camping is sitting around a fire shooting the breeze, not watching TV.

Yeah as I was visiting my unit at the service department recently, I noticed the fleet of new Jaycos with the fixed low profile antenna.
