Dump Tube Came Clean off 2016 26XD

So going up a tall curb this came right off. How does this thing connect back? It looks like it wasn't even attached it came off so clean. Im guessing silicone but even fitment seems a bit off.

It looks like you have a double 3" dump valve. That very likely was one piece from Valterra like this one.

Probably hit the curb and broke it clean off.

Thanks for the info! Wow it looks so clean like it could go back on but clearly not the case. Any ideas on if most RV repair shops should have something? Im on the road so can't order online right now.

I don't think anyone would know what a specific shop has in inventory, but most RVs probably have the 3" to 1.5", so my guess is no one would keep it in stock.

Thanks. I may see if I can source 2 3" single versions as a temporary measure. But I guess to replace them the tanks have to be completely empty?

If not empty they will be shortly after you start. Safe travels

Enjoy the journey

If the center part isn't damaged you can get replacement gates at rv places.
Its just flanges and big o-rings.
Good luck....and yes empty tanks.

I haven't read all of the responses, so please excuse me if this has already been said: I had this exact same thing happen on my 2017 GreyHawk. Make sure both tanks are drained. Disassemble both tank valves. Place the y connector back into the valves and replace the valve covers with the 4 screws and nuts. The ridge on the y connector will fit into the valve and the valve cover will hold it in place. Your part looks unharmed and will go right back in. This Y connector is constructed so that when the assembly is back together, the y connector can be tilted upward of downward. Note: this is a good time to replace the 4 valve seals that can be purchased from any RV store, or even at Walmart. Be sure to lube them before you put them into the valves. I hope this helps you and good luck !!

Thanks everyone for the reply! We are doing a cross country trip from DC to Washington State to Cali and Back going thru MOAB etc.

This happened in MOAB and we are in our last week of travel and it's a Sunday so I ended up getting ripped off by a mobile RV repair guy who had all the parts to make each pipe separate and eliminate the Y connector all together (I think its a bad design to begin with).

The unit is in fact a rental from outdoorsy but its our home so I wanted it done well as well as ASAP. He charged lot but we have peace of mind everything was done and in fact it brought everything up way higher so I guess its worth it. Thanks everyone for the reply.

Glad you got it fixed. Unfortunately those are the joys of rv-ing!!!! Things happen....
It will give you great stories around future camp fires. I think we have all ben there, I have several times and still talk about them.

Check Insurance

You may have insurance from your credit card, personal auto, or even homeowners. I was surprised by what is covered by mine.
