DVD Zone 2 Operation

We have a 2015 Greyhawk with a Jensen JRV215N Radio\Camera\DVD system in it. I'm trying to figure out how to get the Radio to play for the driver while the kids are watching and listening to the DVD player. I downloaded the Jensen manual and read through it. It talks about Zone2 that seems like what I want to do. But I can't get it to work. Either the DVD audio is on the radio and the house speakers. Or the music is on the radio and no audio on the house speakers. Has anyone been able to play the radio up front and have the DVD audio go to the house speakers at the same time?

As far as I know, zone 2 is the outside speakers.

Hi Greyhawk Pilot,
Can you tell me where you got the manual for your Jensen unit?. I have a 2015 Greyhawk 31 DS and can't seem to find the manual. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

https://www.asaelectronics.com/manuals-guides - They have a whole bunch of manuals here. Just scroll down to the model you need. Interesting that it didn't come with the RV package. Update on my problem - My wife says I have bad ears cause the audio in the RV is never coming from the house speakers. Only from the front. Maybe the house speakers are hooked up. I know they forgot to hook up the microphone for Bluetooth. I found it in my package of manuals.

They also forgot or deliberately did not hook up by bluetooth microphone either. My dealer is going to hook it up for me this week, among other warranty issues that need addressed.

This is right out of the manual.... "The Zone 2 function allows the radio to operate two different modes concurrently, one for the driver, and one for the passengers. For example, the driver is able to listen to the radio while the passengers are watching a DVD. There is no interference between Zone 1 and Zone 2"

NOTE: The audio and video images of Zone 2 can only be delivered
through external devices by "Line out and Video out".

The audio from Zone 2 cannot be delivered through the speakers of the radio and the video from Zone 2 cannot be delivered through the LCD
display
.
1.Press the MENU button (1) or touch the on - screen button (9) in the home menu to access Zone 2 menu.
“Zone 2 is on page 2

2. Under Zone 2 operation, there are 4 modes available: Disc/USB/AUX 1/AUX 2.

3. Touch “Disc” to enter Disc playback mode.

4. Touch "USB” to enter USB playback mode.

5. Touch “AUX 1” to enter AUX 1 mode of Zone 2.

6.Touch “AUX 2” to enter AUX 2 mode of Zone 2

Sincerely yours,

xxxx Rick

Yes - that's the part of the manual I was referring to. Followed the instructions and the radio plays. But can't get the audio for DVD

Looks like I need to play with a few settings.... Just using zone one for all of it, I did have to swing the fader to the rear to make it more noticeable in the house. I was worried about not being able to rock my music while a movie was playing.

I tried some of this today, but did not have a disc handy at the time. I was trying to get the TV Programming to go over the house speakers and listen to different music source in the cab. I was unsuccessful. Will have to try with a DVD next time.
