Electric cord compartment on 2003

Hi,
I noticed under my kitchen sink which is on the back wall of my RV that I could see daylight on the bottom space. That space actually leads to my electric cord storage in the back which is not sealed of course - just has a door that opens and closes whether you are storing or using the cord. How do I seal up the space under my sink that basically leads to the outside to avoid moisture etc.?

Can you provide a pic of the gap? Then it could be determined if silicone could seal the gap. I'm however not a fan of that foam sealer (type that expands), as it holds water more than it seals it out.

Just a thought. Been there, done that - trying to seal gaps. It took a good day to seal ever gap and hole I could find. We used Eternabond 4" Tape on some, gap-filling foam on others, and plain ol' silicon caulk on the smaller ones.
