electric vs propane grill

we have a Q-grill with a 12lb propane tank and love it. trying to reduce what we carry so thinking of an electric grill. no need to carry 12lb propane tank and Q-grill weight of 30 lbs. comments.

Doesnt your rig have a low pressure propane quick connection on the side? Rework the gas regulator on the grill to use your rigs propane and ditch the bottle?

Do you ALWAYS have sites with electric hookups? I assume yes, but you didn't state that.

EDIT: I just noticed this is in the class C section, so I now assume you would be running your generator for the grill when necessary.

I just replaced my propane grill with a Foreman electric that has a pedestal stand. The propane grill took up too much space and cleaning was messy. I looked at the BabyQ but if you used a stand it took more storage space. Some CGs do not allow the use of grills on their tables so that ruled out most of the small propane grills. I haven't used the Forerman yet but suspect it will be similar to the inside version.

We have a gas stove at home and propane when traveling. I like propane for the same reasons we have natural gas at home.
