Electrical help

Can someone tell what this part is and where the white wire is supposed to be connected. It is located behind my auxiliary battery.

White wires in RVs are ground wires.

Contact Jayco with your Vin number and ask for the 12v wiring schematic

Thanks for cell phones. I take a picture or 3 before I dig into anything on my rig so it's there if I need it.

This is a good lesson of the importance of the before pics.

What rig? Do you have a leveling system or the less complicated electric front landing gear? If elect front landing gear, I’m guessing that’s a solenoid to send juice to the legs when the switch is activated. Just a guess

Another way to look at it is what is not working?

We have found a few cut disconnected wires in a couple of our motorhomes over the years but everything works. They were all previously owned.

Electrical help

Check the lug below the sticker to see if there is an electric spade. See photo of a similar item.
