Enable front tv while moving

How do I bypass the park override on the big tv? I expect to have the bed setup pretty much all the time so I cant see it, and the family wants to watch tv and play xbox while I drive. I know a few of you have done this... I am sure it is as simple as a ground wire or something like that. Rather just have someone show me real quick than for me to reverse engineer my brand new rig.

There usually isn't a park interlock. Just use an hdmi cable to connect to tv

Hello, yesterday I plugged my big tv into the wrong outlet, the one under the wall cabinet. Thought I screwed it up. Changed it to the outlet on the wall where all the other connections are and it works fine. Hope it is that simple as I a just learning the little things that can be irritating.

I figured there would be.lots of responsors to this post already.

There is a kill switch relay in the outlet. PULL the outlet, and there is an extra wire, if I recall it is red in collor. Disconnect it. the outlet will now work while your driving

Well I thought this was going to be a problem since I have heard others with that problem too. Good news is that in at least the 16 seneca, there are 3 outlets behind the tv...to power the dvd player, wineguard, hdmi splitter etc. Those of course have power even while driving, so it was really stupid simple to just move the plug from one outlet to another outlet. No wires to cut, no outlets to mess with, done and done.

Is there any state DOT Safety laws being violated here. I got passed one time by a SUV that obviously had the front TV going. I could see the TV working through his rear window...

A few miles down the road I can up to the same SUV pulled over by Law enforcement???

Don't know if that was related to having a TV 'ON' while driving or not...

Sometimes the simplest step is the right answer. Don't let the Seneca intimidate you, as it can at times. It is fun to take a step back and ask what is the easiest thing I can do to trouble shoot this. I find this to be the joy of being a Seneca owner.

From what I understand you can't have it on if you can see it from the drivers seat. Since I have the full cab over bed down, I can't see the tv at all while in the seat. I am not one to break the law so if I had the chance to see it, it would not be on believe me.

LEOs typically do not look for every infraction that may be present in an RV moving down the road.
