Energy management system

On my 2022 29V.... when plugged in to shore power should my energy management system say 'service 30amp' ? Mine read 'Service 20amp' when camping at 3 sites that had 30amp plug.

I think it should be reading whatever the feed is. Mine shows 30 amps at the camp ground post, and 33 amps with the generator running. ... haven't had a 20 amp feed yet.

Check it out by plugging into a known source.

Here is a pdf about the system I have:

I think I have this figured out, if all else fails, read the book.

On my Precision Circuits energy management system I select the amperage I want the system to control. I use the 'Select' button to set it to 15amp, 20amp, or 30amp. The system then controls the power that I have coming in according to what I set it for, so I don't trip a breaker. Instead it sheds power to a device when I am calling for more than I have coming in.

In other words, I had scrolled to 20amp when I should have scrolled to 30amp when I had 30amp available.

Thanks

You found it. I was going to tell you you can change the service and it should be reading 30.

The EMS will automatically select generator and 33 A input when the genny is running but when on shore power you have to manually scroll to set the source amperage that you're plugged in to. Setting the correct input will allow it to shed loads as needed to keep from exceeding the available power (i.e. open the circuit breaker at the source).

Power management question again

On my last outing last week to Maine was plugged into 30amp and had 'No Service' on the display. Everything worked as it should, even both AC's. When I scrolled thru it said everything had power but still no acknowledgement on the panel that I had any service.
