Install a flippable computer desk on the wall. Can the mattress be flipped and put a chair on the solid support beneath the mattress? is it comfortable to put a chair(some special type of chair?) on the soft mattress and sit on it?
Mattress is TIGHT in there, not sure flipped will work
I took out half my dinette bench, side near driver. Have a nice , reclineable office chair their and a smaller table now. Works fantastic for me

Others like to stay in the living room. Trying to create a secret place as office . If the mattress can be folded in half, it might work. I have not seen a chair that works on mattress. What does the support beneath mattress look like? one piece of flat wood?

Bed base is 1/2" plywood.
Couple of things to ponder
- If I were to put a chair on top of the mattress, my head would be pretty close to the ceiling
- The bed platform is up pretty high, I would need some sort of stairs to facilitate entering and exiting if I were to do what you are thinking
What about the "desk" on the other side of the wall? In the bathroom?
