Entrance door closing and opening

Our new 29V entrance door is very difficult to close without slamming and very difficult to open if you do get it closed tight.
I thought I read a post on here a while back about the adjustment of the door. Maybe it was because it rattled, not sure but can't seem to find it.

Anyone else have door issues ?
Thanks
Jim

Jim, it might take care of the problem if you adjust the door striker so the door and the striker mate properly.

Yes, constant issue with door becoming harder to close, on its own. My particular problem is with the striker adjustment as noted by gprapim, posted in thread below.

Another extensive thread on this issue:

Mine will give me intermittent issues, if door is racked a bit from unlevel

I can see my strikers are a bit off so strike plate needs adjusted, slid down a scosh
Tried out camping a week ago but was Armstronged on there, my baby screw driver was no match for it, so I'll try again at home before next trip

easy peasy

Door issue

I took the advise of lubing up the internal parts of my door handle with the 3 in 1 dry lube. It made a big difference.
It still takes a good push to get it closed and still hangs up a little when opening but I think I am going in the right direction.
I will lube it a few more times. Since I only picked it up a week ago i might just take it back to the dealer and see if they have any more ideas.
Thanks
Jim

Our 2021 RH 24B's door lock is a mess too. I'm going to get a keyless lockset, made in USA.

My 2021 Redhawk can't use this style. Mine is more like a car door latch.

On our 29MV the main door has a piano hinge and i noticed it was worn and sagging. I took door off, left the hinge on the RV and put 1-2mm washers raising the door up on lower / medium/top then it closes. 8 hours work but well worth the door not sealing and wind blowing in when traveling. Also put a door seal on the foot / bottom of the coach entry.
hope that helps. Ted

Where do you see Made in the USA?

I try to support Made in the USA stuff too, but I'm not seeing anything.
Might be my eyes.
