Entry door latch

The lever on the inside of the door will not retract the latch all the way back into the door. So you can’t open the door while inside the rv The outside lever retracts the latch all the way back into the door so the doors opens from the outside

Is there any way to adjust the lock so the inside lever will retract the latch like the outside lever dies?

I’m not talking about the door being locked—just latched not locked.

You should be able to undo a few screws on the door handle mechanism from the inside of the coach, which will then remove the handle from both sides. That should enable you a good look on what might be going on. Maybe some parts need lubricating? Or possibly a spring or part is broken? Hope it's just a simple fix. If a part is broken, might be worth it to just buy a new lock/handle mechanism.

Not sure if this is it, but I also suggest loosing/tightening the attachment screws. Mine had worked their way so loose that it was causing all sorts of problems.

I need to send Jayco a pallet of LocTite.
