Entry Door Problems

We have a 2018 Jayco Greyhawk 26Y class c with a keyless entry door. When we put the levelers down and level the rig it seems to somehow tweek the body so the door will not close properly, if at all. It seems the latch on the door does not match up with the latch on the rig. Only happens when the rig is up on the levelers. Door works great otherwise. Did not want to mess with the latches.
Any thoughts?

By all means play with the latch. You won't hurt a thing as you can't really move them much. I had to fine tune my latch a tad but did not have a problem with binding while leveling.

Recently my door was not closing easily. I dabbed a bit of grease on the catch and hit the mechanism with good old WD40. Now closes as smooth as can be.

This was all done on my keyless entry latch. If you have something else, the same repair may work for you.

Mine needs adjustment every other year so. The latch gets pushed in a smidge over time and we have to begin to shut the door harder and harder to get it to latch. Loosen the screws on the latch plate, scoot it ever so slightly out and retighten. Do this until the door will latch without slamming it but still seals around the edges.
