EQ Leveling System Problem (Ignition light flashing)

Hi everyone. I just purchased a 2016 Jayco Grayhawk. The leveling system has a flashing ignition light on the keypad with no keys in the ignition. This is preventing me from setting null and auto leveling. Jacks drop manually but stop every time the ignition light flashes. Retract all works fine.

I have read on other threads that the ignition issue can be fixed by finding the leveling system wiring under the dash and splicing a diode in the pink wire circuit (EQ says the pink wiring provides 12vdc to the controller which activates the ignition light on the keypad and disables. In this case momentarily.

Does anyone know where Jayco wires all of these safety connections under the dash, particularly the ignition wire (pink)?

Called EQ and they told me to check the pink wire for 12vdc
Called Jayco and they told me to take it to a dealer.
Both said they have never heard of the issue. Not sure if I believe that.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Easiest way to fix it is to put the key in and turn on the ignition. Engine does not have to be running.

I usually park, check everything around the RV, where the stands would come down and if everything is good;

plug in to shore power or start gen
make sure parking brake on
turn keys to on (engine not running)
turn levelers on
bring levelers down
turn levelers off
turn ignition off
finish rest of setup (slides, water, sewer, chairs, etc)

You lost me Ann-Marie.

I have a 2016 and the ignition has to be OFF for the leveling system to work. I believe that's what the OP is saying: his ignition is off, but his leveling system is thinking it's on.

Thank you for the clarification. You are correct. The ignition is off but my eq leveling system keypad is flashing the ignition light as if the ignition is on. Jesslinger posted a fix but when I called Jayco as suggested they said they were not aware of the problem and take it to a dealer. I send Jesslinger a message but no reply yet. Thanks to all!!
