Exterior TV Audio when watching a DVD - Seneca
Last weekend the family took our last trip of the season. As a treat, we wanted to watch a movie by the fire. Our fun was spoiled once we got into the movie and realized there were no voices coming through the speakers; just some background music.
This problem, I'm certain is limited to the sony mex-dv1700u head unit. I'm not sure how many senecas had these in them, but I figured I would post this in case someone else wanted to play a DVD for the youngens and was having problems:
Turn the device completely off (press and hold source button). On the sony remote, press [Visual Setup], Go to Audio Setup, then change Multi Ch Output from multi to Stereo.
