I too am concerned about EZpass placement in my RedHawk, however, I put it up behind the rear view mirror on the windshield. This is my 3rd RV and my last cab-over was not hung over the cab as much.

I do want to add, my wife called EZPASS in NY a few years ago and was able to obtain a special, blue, EZpass for towing. This blue EZpass tow will sense if we are towing or not and charge us accordingly as per each states toll charges. So far it’s been working fine.

We have our EZPass mounted under the rearview mirror with no problems. We do have an EZPass for our toad, which we keep wrapped in aluminum foil in the glove compartment.

Never any issues.

my EZ-pass literally just rolls (more like slides) around on my dash. It's not fixed to anything and it works every time.

Just think about how many vehicles these things have to work on.

I talked to an NYS police motor cop, they have a "trunk" on the back of their bikes that holds a bunch of stuff, they put their EZ-pass in the trunk, and it works from there. although if it doesn't work, whos going to go after them LOL

Yes, the NYS Thruway authority charges the NYS police to use the Thruway at least they use too
