Fault code 3363

I have a 2018.5 Jayco Seneca with the new 6.7 Litre Cumins 360 horse motor. I have a ScanGauge hooked into the diagnostic port. I got an amber "check engine" light with the fault code 3363 on the ScanGauge. I've read where it is in relation to the DEF tank temperature or other DEF related technical devices. Can anyone tell me what the heck is actually going on with this? I keep running into many explanations. Thanks in advance.

Search for posts from Rustynuts, he has been communicating with Freightliner regarding DEF issues on newer Senecas and is very informed.

He is also active on the Facebook Seneca Owners Group, lots of discussion there regarding this problem.

So in my emailing with FCCC some early 2018.5 chassis, usually a 2017 build date, the water lines from the engine to the DEF heater got installed reversed. With the heater hoses routed backwards it can cause it to over heat the in tank sensor and damage it. The code seems to be come up when the Outside temperatures are up. After the RV sits and coolant cools down, it seems the code goes inactive. What kind of temperatures are you driving in? I suggest contacting FCCC at fcccservice@daimler.com or call 800-FTL-HELP
