Filling freah water tank

On my 02 Jayco I hook up a water hose, and turn a valve that says fill. I can't see anyway to tell when the tank is full. I don't want to split my tank, by over filling. If I go to the panel and hope the sensors work that will tell when the tank is full. My manual doesn't give me any help. Any thoughts?Stan

On mine I know it is full when water starts coming out of the fresh water tank overflow hoses.

There is an overflow on your tank. Keep filling it until water starts to run out.
