Finished installing front air bags today

I was able to complete the installation of air bags on my '99 Eagle 283G today. I now have air bags on the front and rear of the rv. The rear air bags were fairly difficult to install because of the proximity of the exhaust tail pipe on the right rear. The left rear has all the fuel and brake lines along with a wiring harness that must pass through the upper bracket of that air bag. Installing this kit while lying on your back was not a lot of fun. I ran these air lines to the water control/shore power panel in the left rear compartment.

The front air bags were not very difficult to install in the front coil springs. I ran the air lines up under the hood on either side of the radiator.

I test drove the rv this afternoon. The side to side swaying is greatly reduced. The ride is not rough although a bit firmer. I am using 55 psi in the rear bags and 25 psi in the front bags. It also appears to help reduce the wandering in the steering.

I just wanted to update this thread with the status of the 4 air bags I installed. I completed a 2000 mile round trip on all types of terrain and road conditions and found that 30 psi works best for the rear and 15 psi for the front air bags. The rv had a smooth but stable ride. No harsh bouncing from bad spots in the road. The steering is also no longer sloppy with the use of the front air bags and a new steering stabilizer.
