I have never towed a toad before but the most popular one out there seems to be the Jeep Wrangler. I just purchased one last week to tow behind my Class C but have purchased all the gear yet.

Hey, Rhenn... Depends what you are looking for. When we went shopping my priorities were a fuel efficient commuter car, light weight for towing, automatic transmission and minimal adjustments to be able to flat tow.

We settled on the Chevy Sonic. It met all of my needs. It is one of the few Automatics that needs no significant mods to tow. They do suggest removing a fuse when towing to prevent battery drain, my dealer overcame that by adding a charging line from the RV's 7-pin connector.

It is my daily commuter so good fuel economy was definetly a priority. When we get to our destinations it easily fits four, and we can squeeze a fifth when required. The trunk space is big enough for a full load of groceries... Or the dog!

Thank you! I have thought about the Jeep but the reviews are not good for a day to day use, it is rough and noisy., although is the best for towing. I'll check the Chevy!!

Can't go wrong with a used Honda CR-V. I say used because you can't tow the new 2015-16 because they have a newer transmission that Honda does not recommend flat towing.

RHENN7770, the first thing you want to know is the difference between your GCWR and the loaded for travel weight of your MH. That tells you what the total weight of your toad can be that meets your other criteria.

I have a '14 Wrangler Rubicon. It is my daily driver and I don't have any issues with the ride or the noise. Also, the steering wheel does not lock when you remove the ignition key so you don't have to worry about draining the battery when flat towing.
