Ford Dealers that are Motorhome friendly

Ford touts over 1900 dealers that can handle Working on their motorhome chassis, but I cannot seem to locate a listing of the Ford dealerships that bear this distinction.

How can one find these dealerships?

Thanks,

Just for grins, I searched on "Ford dealerships that service RVs" and got several hits. Here's one: RV Service and Repair in Tampa

You might try that for your area.

I asked the closest Ford dealer to me (about 10 miles away) if the could or would work on my GH31ss, and they said they did not have the facilities (covered work space) and they would have to "work on it" out in the parking lot or behind the building, which they did not want to do, or would not do. They referred me to a business about 25 miles away which does have the facilities for a vehicle this size but not a Ford dealer.

I work at a Ford dealer in Maryland and I can say, not ALL dealers work on bigger vehicles. Just because the shop can't handle their size. Also, different lifts are needed specifically for them due to their length. On the other hand, my shop can work on them. We have lifts designed to handle rv's, buses, etc. Most dealers that have fleet accounts can accomodate rv's. jm2c

Yes I know about Gator ford and had found their capabilities via Google search. My point is that if the e450 cutaway literature cites this number of dealerships then they should also have that list somewhere. Would like to have it in the coach while roaming the country so if anything should happen, I can quickly cross reference current location to the appropriate dealership. Most of the dealer finders rely on your knowledge of your current zip code, and even then the search features mention nothing of big rig capable.

In reviewing the Ford Towing guide I did find this number - 1-800-444-3311

Yeah about that list... "it changes too frequently, so just call us."
