Ford E450 Dash - What are these?

In the small area on the left there is a red light. No idea what that is for. Also, what is the item on the right for?

Not sure about the red light on left, my rig doesn't have it. The black button on the right was a AUX in port (that is capped off) for the stock Ford radio. Unfortunately, it isn't hooked up on the Soundstream.

Is the light shown in that picture? It's a really small picture- can't see if that's the area or the actual picture.

No, light isn't shown. I stole the pic from a catalog. The light on mine is at the end of the arrow.

Hmmm, I searched around and couldn't find a picture of a E450 dash with that light. I looked at a picture of my dash, not there either.

Wonder if your previous owner put it in. Battery charger, inverter or brake controlled light maybe? Any fog lights or driving lights on the front of your rig, and this is a indicator? Send us a picture.

Don’t you have an after market satellite system? Maybe something with that?

You may be on to something as there are holes behind the front bumper where lights may have been mounted. No evidence of a missing switch though. I'll poke around behind the dash and see what I can find. Good guess.

I do, and that's another possibility as I haven't used it.

Just tap on the picture and it will enlarge it plus your fingers can make it fill the entire screen.

See if this is better. Haven't been behind dash yet.

That is definitely an after market add-on. Not sure for what it would be though.

It will now drive me nuts until I figure out what it was used for.

Definitely a user add on. I'm going to go with an indicator for lights in the front as my first guess. He might have removed the switch when he took the lights off, but left the indicator light.

This is the light to show that you have ejected your co-pilot after you get tired if hearing them.
