Foul Oder in Entegra coach

new owner of ENTEGRA 29v. Any suggestions why there is a foul odor on the inside of the rv when flushing out the black water tank?

Welcome to the forum.

Is this a used or new unit? Have you noticed the odor every time or just occasionally?

We were having this issue with our Seneca and it ended up being the Vacuum Break valve on the rinse line. It was up inside the vanity cabinet. Cheap and easy to do and fixed the problem.

Sounds like your pooh tank vent pipe is next to your air conditioner on the roof, perhaps.

Or, maybe see this thread:

I have a Seneca without washer/dryer. I had a problem with a Odor in the bedroom. It turned out to be the washer drain vent. I just plugged it. Smells like a rose.

Plugging it will help but it needs water in the trap to prevent gases from coming up from the tanks.
