What are you going to do with the information? How is it going to help me with my short and long term issues with my 2014 Jayco Seneca 37RB?

Great Idea John Doe. This will narrow down the response and I am sure you will receive more qualified answers,

Would it be fair to ask what issues you are having (prompting this request) prior to sending the email?

Water leaks
Paint issues
Plumbing issues
Electrical issues
Quality control issues
Entertainment issues
Hardware issues
Appliance issues
Chassis issues

What do all of these have in common? Attention to detail. A quote from Jayco website: "We'd love nothing more than to be part of your family story." With all of the above mentioned items you are.

Why? Is there a problem? Jayco is refusing to resolve issues under warranty?

When one pays some where in the neighborhood of $200,000 for an RV they should not be plagued with a litany of problems that are common to the entry level units out there. Every unit should be THOROUGHLY tested and each and every system on the unit double checked for function and condition PERIOD!!!!!!!

That said, we have had a number of issues with our entry level Eagle Super Lite and each and every time Jayco stepped up and took care of the issues with no hassle what so ever and they have done so to our complete satisfaction.

Hope you find a satisfactory resolution to your issues.

Steve

There is no such thing as a perfect product. I have paid over $100,000 for cars that have problems. I have not had a litany of problems with our Seneca but there is some. The main thing is Jayco stands behind the product and resolves any issues. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!!

Yep, price does not determine, or eliminate issues. We know first hand after a Class A and Class C. They had more issues than our entry level Jayco.

Loss of Use $$$

Anyone care to discuss how "Loss of Use" reimbursement was (mis)handled by JAYCO?

What happened? Looking at your name, do/did you have leaks in your Seneca?

Not debating 2 year warranty

I am not debating the fact that Jayco stands behind their 2 year warranty. The problem is when you have a "unit" (insert your model # here) go back to the factory 2 times within a 20 month time period and come back BOTH times with further issues there is a problem. (This last time it came back with defective dining table and the rear TV was laying on the bed. Someone didn't latch door and it ripped off the cabinet.). At what point do we as customers/owners not settle for this quality of treatment/product? At what point do we as customers deserve more from a product that we are making payments on, keeping up with insurance on and it's getting more miles to the factory for repairs than camping?

Based on your wording it sounds like you didn't take it to the factory yourself. What were the original issues and what was worse?

I have gone back to the factory for work and the techs are meticulous about how they handle a unit in my experience.

I was told the factory does not do any repairs or warranty work just the dealers. The only time it goes back to the factory is in the event of a collision and needs major repairs like walls etc. Sounds like you are having a problem with your dealer???

Not exactly true.

I know people who have called and scheduled to have warranty work done at the factory when they were in the area. They will even do after warranty work, I personally had that done.
