Do you by chance have pics? Also what size clamps did you use?

Here is a photo of the kink in the hose before I put in the clamp.
The other 2 photos are where the clamp is installed. It's a simple 2" or so hose clamp, not even $1. I bought a whole assortment from Harbor Freight for $5.

In another of the many threads started on this subject, I posted the same fix as member jyh815 posted. I did go one step further by installing a flat, locking door plate on the wall of the camper, and removed the black plastic bezel that holds the filler neck. This allowed me to raise the fuel filler neck up about an inch, and give a bit of security with a locking door. All in all, its a smooth cover that looks a whole lot better IMO than the open black bezel.

Forget kinked hoses, air locks etc., it is a DESIGN ERROR.
Gas can not flow uphill!
Jayco sent me the shop bulletin on how to modify the filler to raise it a few inches but it involves extensive modification of the slide out, weakening the structure and ugly fiberglass work.

I found a simple solution. Make a wooden chock that raises the wheel about 3", now the gas can flow DOWN to the tank.

Greyhawk 2019 30x
Send me an email address in a PM if you want a copy of the Jayco fix for the problem but it is a poor compromise with cutouts in the slide-out to work around the raised inlet.
