Furnace Blowing Cool Air

So I took my 2006 Jayco Jayhawk (which I bought last year) up to the Texas panhandle the past few days. Weather got below freezing at night and so I tried using the furnace for the first time. It blew cool air the entire time so I'm not sure what I may have missed in order for it to blow hot air. Luckily, I had packed a portable floor heater. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks in advance

Not sure about your unit but on the North Point there is a hidden reset switch on top of the furnace that is accessed by removing some panels in the basement. You may have a reset switch as well.

Check your propane levels, and check your fuses if you haven’t already done so. Also, check to make sure spiders or mud daubers haven’t made a nest in the furnace exhaust

I just got mine back from the dealer. They had turned off the propane. Make sure the valve is open on the tank.

Run the fridge and HWH on gas only to eliminate any potential air in the lines.

I know in every trailer I've had, if the furnace didn't light after trying three attempts, it would just shut off. No fan...nothing. You'd have to turn it off and turn it back on again at the thermostat to get it to attempt to light again.

Like others have suggested, try lighting the stove. If you can light the stove, that shows gas is flowing to at least that point in the trailer. You can also try lighting your water heater to see if it comes on. If neither light and you've confirmed your tank valves are open, then you have some other issue besides gas supply.

If the manual valve is on and gas is present it will lock out after three attempts.
Often times the flame sensor is dirty or the gap is too big or a bug /dirt is between where it arcs to the burner. Could be the control too. Can you hear it snapping?
Needs to be looked at by someone with natural/propane experience.

A similar question on the heating system. Is there any reason why one shouldn’t run the heater without opening the slides?

You can run the furnace with slides in or out.

I run my all the time fully closed , only issue is that one hot supply blows directly on the the side of a slide. We just turn on the ac fan for the bedroom and use that to disperse the air throughout the cosch.
