Part #DFMD30111 is your furnace model number.

Part #D7E33063 was the original/replacement sail switch number (33063). Part number D7E33063 was 'only' the switch, new part #33082 is a "kit" including the plastic bracket, screws, and the #33063 sail switch......., the sail switch just isn't sold alone any more.

Apparently most furnace models in 2017 and later require the plastic bracket, not furnace models prior to 2017. One's furnace serial number confirms when the plastic bracket came into play.

I'm going through the same problem you had and still waiting for my replacement "kit" #33082. What a PITA this has been

When this part (and bracket) came in they looked identical to the part and bracket I had. I think I could easily have attached the new part to the old bracket and been good to go. What they sent me was exact like what I had. Except the new one works!
Hope yours comes in soon. As some have said, it’s an easy fix.

I hope Dometic-Atwood found a minor issue with the micro switch (spring load, contacts, etc.) and made a correction..., this would increase my confidence in the replacement switch.

Right. Well, so far so good. Every time it comes on I worry the flame isn’t going to ignite, but then it kicks in. Works like a champ so far.

Propane tank is at 50%, plugged into shore power and after I hit reset, I can hear the propane burning and the air from the register is good and hot until it shuts off.
Does anyone have any suggestions? RV is a 2019 Jayco Melbourne 24K.
I had a similar problem with my Greyhawk 29 MVP. The heater would start up and light for a second or two and then go off. It would recycle and do the same thing.

Initially it seems like it would only happen at high altitude, but then it started happening all the time. Finally went in to get it fixed, or at least looked at, and after 10 days of waiting, they finally fixed it. They look at the sail switch and that was not it. Eventually they diagnose the problem as being the thermal sensor the senses the flame when the furnace ignites. If the thermal coupler does not sense the flame, it will turn off the gas and the furnace won’t stay lit.

Check this out with your technician see if this is the problem with your furnace. Hope this information helps and good luck!

Thanks Jay. Turned out to be the sail switch on mine. I wasn’t at all sure but it looked like a cheep and easy fix so I started wit the sail switch intending to try the more expensive stuff later. Problem was trying to find the switch. Seems there was a lot of people needing them at the same time.
Part finally came in and All is good now.

Good luck my friend. I got a scare yesterday morning when I woke up cold and couldn’t the heat to come on. First time I ever remember being happy to discover an empty propane tank! :-)

Just had the high limit switch go out on our 2018.5 Seneca....with as many threads about sail and high limit switches, I got spares of each to carry.

The limit switch went out while boondocking/snowmobiling...furnace stopped working at 2am and was 10 degrees outside. Running genny and electric fireplace it was only 40 degrees inside when we got up!

From what I have read about kit 33082 sail switch with bracket was for 2017 and earlier furnaces and the 2018 and up already used the 33063 switch in the bracket but not you can only get a replacement in the “kit”

That'll make it hard to get out'a bed and tinkle, won't it?
