Fuse question while my toad is hooked up

I have a 2019 Redhawk 29XK. I have been towing my Jeep for 2 years. This last trip Fl to NY and back I started popping the 20 amp fuse in the engine bay of the RV that controls the turn signals and brakes on the toad. I replaced it twice and when it happened a third time I stopped into a truck repair shop. They looked at quickly and put a 30 amp fuse in and told to me to get the wiring looked at when I get back to Fl. With the 30 amp fuse the rest of the trip was uneventful. Would it be harmful to leave the 30amp fuse in there? Appointments in FL are backed up and we had a trip planned before I can get it into the shop.
Thanks in advance!

If your lights are bulb type check for corrosion at the socket, see water build up in lens cover. Visually check wiring.

It's not a good idea to put a 30 amp fuse where a 20 amp fuse is called for. That being said, it may be necessary when troubleshooting. Does the problem occur when the Jeep is disconnected? If so, the problem may be isolated to the Redhawk.

No corrosion. Everything works fine when they are apart

If you can not get it looked at before you need to tow again buy the light kit with magnetic base to put on back of jeep. You may have a diode in the existing Jeep wiring that is shorting out or wiring short.
