Fusion and Sirius?

Has anyone added a sirius xm to the fusion? Called sirius and they immediately tried to sell something that did not match what I read. Which was we need an auto tuner and plug it into the back and then need to work out the antenna placement.

I installed a Sirius XM SXV300v1 (Amazon $39.00) Works great easy installation. Totally out of sight w/ antenna wire exiting left side of dash. Still working on the best antenna placement

I run a audio wire to the inlet of the fusion. A supplied with Sirius/XM radio antenna is placed against the window or on the external ladder.

Sorry, just saw this. Where is the inlet for the wire to connect to? The kit I saw indicated that it's a plug in type of connection. Thanks in advance.

Assuming you have a Seneca you will have to remove the dash overlay panel (torx) drive.
Then remove the radio attaching screws and pull the unit rearward to allow access to the back. There is a 4-5in wire with a cap on the end that will accept the plug from the Sirius module. The module can be located under the right side dash cover that has two screws at the bottom and clips along the top (lift up). I located mine just inboard of the amplifier unit and secured with double back tape. I routed the antenna wire over to the driver door and then along the upper mirror tube to a homemade bracket.
Hope this helps. Easy to do

Why not just bluetooth stream Pandora? Never been a fan of XM or Sirius.

No annual fees (you can upgrade Pandora for $36 a year and get advanced quality and less ads) and no special antenna or hookups.

We have Sirius in one of our other vehicles with the internet plan so we just stream it via bluetooth from our phone while RVing. Plus I heard the antenna placement in Greyhawks is a challenge for good reception if going the Sirius install route. I too have paid version of Pandora at my office, so phone streaming is also an option in the RV.

We must just travel in different locations. I believe Pandora needs a cell tower signal ?
We have experienced multiple areas (Wyoming, texas Arizona) where we did not have strong or continuous bars on our cell phones.
I have been getting Sirius on specials for $5/mo so the cost is not a issue
