Generater

Is it ok to start the generater when i’m pluged in? Thanks Tom

Yes.
The transfer switch will take the generator as the preferred power source. If desired and available the output breaker on the generator can be turned off so as not to cause the transfer switch to sense the generator power, causing any interruption to the incoming shore power source.

But not recommended unless breaker is off as 2008 Seneca said.
