Generator, LP 3500 Backfire!

I just purchased a 2017 Jayco Melbourne with a LP3500 Generator. When its cold it backfires like crazy! Any thoughts on Why?

how many hours on gen? May need a valve adjustment or the fuel pressure/regulator may not be working properly? Just a couple of quick guesses.

Backfire is usually due to a lean fuel mixture; too much air, not enough fuel.

Try:
Changing the generator air filter.
Change the generator fuel filter.
Change the generator spark plug.

Also could be a bad ignition coil, but as stated usually it's a lean condition.
Being a problem when cold, it's likely there's a air leak, bad gasket, hose disconnected somewhere or gas pressure / regulator issue.

Gen. backfire

When I get it home in April I'm going to start with a basic tune up and go from there. it's a 2017 LP3500 with 51 hours on it.

With the 10% or more of ethanol they are adding into todays gas, it would not take long for gas to "sit" in the bowl of the carb, or fuel filter, to plug up a bit.

Looks like it it's a propane fueled generator. But I'm guessing he has an air leak.
