Generator power

On a 2018 29MV, where does the generator get its battery power to start up? Does it pull from the truck battery or the coach batteries? We are loosing battery power even when all power it shut down. We turn off the main power switch when we park the RV.

Ours pulls from the coach batteries. We had a loose wire on the coach battery and it wouldn't start. Tightened it up, the generator cranked right up.

Same - ours pull from the house/coach battery. Genny wouldn't start because of a dead coach battery, so I fired up the engine and let the alternator charge the coach battery enough to start the generator.

The EMERGENCY START will work in reverse to start the geny if needed too. Of course it takes 2 people unless you have looooooooong arms.

One thing I miss about our old class A... the Emergency Start button was in arms reach of both the keyed engine start and the generator start buttons.

Makes me wonder about installing a dash start button for the generator .....
