Question GH 31FS Mystery Box under J-Steel Sofa

Anyone know what this wooden box under the J-Steel sofa in a 2014 Greyhawk 31FS is?

X2 what Grumpy said. Probably so. I know our previous class c had an above floor lci mechanism. Ours was more of a pain though.

Thanks guys. There seem to be just a couple of screws. I'll likely take it apart to find out.

I can’t wait to see in there. It sure beats laying on your back under the rig!

DavidG, I have the same unit (2014 31FS) so I am very interested in what you find in there.

I have a ‘15 31 FS and just replaced the sofa, so ended up removing all of that flimsy garbage. Under mine was a j-box for electrical and a penetration through the slide floor for the oven gas line. Also, 120v that appeared to go up to the microwave and 12v circuits that go to the lights above the couch and I’m assuming the slide motor. That cover wouldn’t work with my RecPro install so left it off. Hope this helps!

Thank you! We're looking to replace the J-Steel sofa with a RecPro 58" sofa. Is that what you did?

Yes. I posted a thread of the finished look back in Sept/Oct if you look back several pages. Huge upgrade!
