Glazing For 2004 Escapade

I searched and searched to find the glazing which snaps into the outside frame of the windows on my Escapade 28 G...I swore that I chose the right size and shape...Which was the only one available, and I attempted to replace my old shrunken/ cracked ones...Well, it turns out I just threw my money away...The new stuff is too big and won't snap in no matter what I do...So, now I am out of options...Should I just use regular window glazing compound? what a pain that will be...
