Gravel slip

We are first time RV owners; bought a 2018 Jayco Melbourne 24L and are having trouble driving up on 2” X 10” leveling boards on gravel bed RV sites. The board ends are cut at a 45 degree angle but always kick out when attempting to drive the front wheels upon the board/boards. How can we drive up on boards sitting on gravel without the wheels spinning and kicking out the boards?

Try this...instead of trying to pull up on the leveling block, go forward past where you need to be turn the blocks around and back down on them.

If your trying to drive up hill in gravel onto levelers your fighting a difficult battle.

Hope that helps...

Andersen makes comma shaped levelers. They start out only half an inch and then get thicker as you drive onto them. Works for me and no scooting.

The boards need to be the length of both wheels. Never had that issue..backing or pulling forward.

Good Luck..

Attach a piece of 3/8 or 1/2 plywood that is about 3-4 " longer.
