Greenhorn needs help with battery issues

Our battery is draining in 1 day my husband is dry camping ( working in middle of no where.) I got a new battery deep cycle, a 120 watt solar panel and in one day the battery is draining. Does anyone know if I can just pull fuses like to the air conditioner /furnace which he does not need we have a 2006 Granite ridge. thank you guys for all your advice we are learning the hard way !!!

Without knowing what he is doing it is hard to tell if it is a battery issue or a load issue. You should never be able to drain a battery in a day. A/C doesn't draw any power. The furnace will use it every time it runs but is he using the furnace?

If he is running all the lights it will kill it. Switch to LED if haven't already

or go to Wally world and get an LED lantern and never use the lights. I assume he is running the fridge on propane as well and not 12v.

well he is not running anything, fridge is on auto so uses propane or generator, using lanterns at night, i saw a red light up in air conditioner.
just looking some ideas. He leaves at 0600 and sometimes does not get back to morothome till 10 pm. i think maybe i will put the fridge just to propane and hope i really didn't mess up the battery. Thanks sharing

There shouldn't be any lights in the air conditioner.

I think the light is for the remote control, found out the hard way our furnace and air conditioner only have a remote no thermostat that was a eye opener. We had a tioga motor home and we had it down but this granite ridge is a little high tech for us!! My husband would like to drive it off a cliff.

I take it you bought it used. There was no option for a remote for the a/c or heat that must have been added by the previous owner. Standard features for 2006 was furnace with wall mounted thermostat.
