Grey/Black Tank Strap

While doing my PDI on Saturday one thing I found was the strap below the grey and black tanks were not tight up against the tank but sagged down. Is this normal? Pic:

No, that is not normal. Have them fix it before you take it home.

Normally. The strap is just extra support if you get under and look you will find that there are flanges on the tank sitting on the frame work.

Looks normal to me. When the tanks are full, they will sag under pressure and come in contact with the straps.

I wondered if that might be the case. I listed in my inspection findings so I'll see what they come back with.

If it's supposed to have tank heaters, be sure they are attached to the bottom of the tanks. Mine must have fallen off and dragged for a few hundred miles when they were delivering it to the dealer. They just rolled the trashed pads up in a ball and zip tied them up under the rig.

Actually the heater on the grey tank was coming off. About 1/4 of it came unglued and was hanging down several inches. It was just a matter of time before the rest came unglued or before road debris snagged it and ripped it off.
The heaters on the black and fresh water tanks were on tight. I did list this in my inspection findings as well.

My crapper tank heater fell off too

Snipped it, and it's saved for my next Warranty trip to dealer
