Grey tank monitor issue

Hello all. I have a 2018 redhawk 26xd. For the past 2 months my grey tank has been reading 2/3 full after dumping it (read 100% full before dumping). Not sure if it's the monitor malfunctioning or if it's always 2/3 full. I've raised the passenger side up while dumping to help the process with no luck. If the tank is 2/3 full is there any way to help drain it completely? And see what's causing the problem. If it's the monitors problem how can I determine and fix that. Thanks for the help.

Check the various posts on black tanks. Some have recommended a few solutions to help clean the internal monitors. Believe adding some dish soap was one of them...

Mine is rarely accurate. I just dumped today, used the black tank flush and had cleaner in it overnight so it would slosh around while driving to the dump site.

Still says 1/3 full.

All the tank sensors are a metal type screw that connects to a circuit that can see if the sensor is in water (resistance to ground). Unfortunately, the metal gets coated with gunk and become useless. Mine stopped working in the first year. I just dump the gray tanks every few days. Black tank once a week, or when it sounds full.

You can spend a few hundred bucks and get a capcaitive type circuit that mounts on the outside of the tanks. This is what the high-end mega buck rigs use.
