Greyhawk 29mv Ladder

We have the Greyhawk 29mv and I noticed how terrible the ladder for getting into over head sleeper is to use. Has anyone made a ladder and what kind of plan did you use or design. Looking for ideas.

We have the 29mv also. I use the factory ladder but I cut up a pool noodle and put it on the rungs to cushion my feet. Works out really good.

Yeah, good idea. I just noticed both my grandkids and my brother-in-law had trouble finding the rungs as the spacing is far apart. Funny watching them hang off sleeper and swing their legs around trying to find them. Not safe though. Accident waiting to happen.

Purchased three step stepladder. Folds up onto bed when not in use. The one that came with RV was accident waiting to happen.

Another good idea. I still like the idea of it being hooked to rail so can't be tipped over or moved.

If you want the "ultimate" in stability and foot comfort you could go with a modified "shelf ladder" as I did. I fabricated some add-on hook plates which I riveted to the ladder and then I painted the whole thing with a black textured paint. It works great, we just unhook it and place it on the bunk when not using it.
