Greyhawk 29MV rear slide Schwintek lube

I have a "popping" notice when running the slide out, less but still exists when bringing it in. This is the Schwintek slide in the bedroom. I read the thread about lubricating the gibbs and coupler. My problem is I can't figure out how to get access to them. Also noticed the owner's manual is in conflict with Schwintek - the owners manual says to never lubricate. Schwintek says to lube the gibbs and coupler.

Hoping someone can tell me the secret to gaining access. Thanks!!

I get the same popping sound on mine as well. I do occasionally spray slide lub on the rollers, which seems to help. You can see the rollers when you pull the rubber flap back on each side of the slide on top and bottom Schwintek slide rails. You will need the spray tube on the can to get in there to the rollers.

I did it a couple months ago, and it made a great improvement.

Will likely do it again when I get the rig out of storage for the upcoming season.

This popping noise has been bothering me since I first bought the MH 5 years ago. I did the CRC lube thing and it didn't improve anything. A closer look reveals that the noise is generated by the wipe seal passing over the window seals as the slide moves. It's really not a problem.

Thanks, think I'll try it. Were you able to gain access to the "back" or inside?

I was able to gain access from outside on the sides of the slide.

Thanks to all

Appreciate the help. It should be nice enough here this weekend for me to give it a shot of lube. Thanks a bunch.
