Greyhawk 31DS bedroom reading lights/dinette lighting

Our over-the-bed reading lights are too bright and too hot. I pulled out a bulb and it's a 12v12w 1139IF. Has anyone replaced these bulbs with something less bright and less hot?...LED's that are cooler and dimmer?

Also, has anyone replaced the dinette light switch with a 12v dimmer? 3 lights on full bore there are a tad too much.

Reading some other posts:
- just google for LED 1139. IF stands for Inside Frosted.

Looks like there are quite a few options.

Thank you for posting this and reminding me that I too wanted to get rid of those suckers. They get really hot!

I was wondering the same thing. If you reach up to turn it off, and get close to bulb you'll burn your skin off. I am going to change them out with LED's.

They make a LED replacement found them on Ebay little pricey but might work I have replaced all mine with LED except those two, it was a little hit and miss on the color and brightness with the others but they work
