Greyhawk 31FS, Bed of Wires!

I opened up the access panel under the bed. In the 31FS this compartment, in my opinion is not ventilated enough. The heat source that is located there is the inverter. It has a fan. This fan, I am assuming comes on as required, due to the inverter also charging the house battery.
But the fan can't draw cooler air as it heats up the air in the compartment...

It just struck me as odd, that one, it is screwed shut, two, all this wiring is located under where I am sleeping and three, no means of good ventilation were designed into it.

The mess of wires in there are a rats nest. Guess I was expecting a little more in the wiring layout, it looks as if it was thrown in there quickly.
Found one rather large gauge wire that was not terminated. Unused wire for an accessory I am assuming, but wrapping the end with some electrical tape might have been a good idea.

I guess this is why it is screwed shut.
