Are you talking when opened or when closed? If it's tight top and bottom when closed having a small difference inside when open is normal. If you can't see light coming through you are usually good.

had this exact same problem on our 2016 31fs mobile rv tech couldn't figure it out and couldn't find a matching slide drive mechanism on the manufacturers website, after a couple phone calls and emailed pictures to the drive company they gave us the proper instructions.

assuming you have the same drive system as we did (look under slide when it's extended and there's a toothed rail directly on the bottom)
you'll find whats in the pics behind the carpeted trim piece at the bottom of the slide floor. There's screws hidden in the carpeting that hold the piece on.

that's what they said and it worked, as soon as he loosened the nuts it shifted on its own and squared up, just torqued the nuts back down and it's been fine since

I have the same problem with my slide, its about 1/4 to 1/2 out at the top when closed. I will try the procedure to fix it later today.

Thanks

that's the adjustment for the type of slide drive i had, it isn't the same for all slides unless you have this particular drive type
