Greyhawk awning question
We have a greyhawk x30. When we use our awning it comes straight out and we see no way to adjust it so water will run off properly. Can anyone help. Thanks.

On the arms there are several push button holes. Push the silver button and pull down and the silver button will pop into the next hole. I think there are 5 holes. Just make sure you snap it back out all the way before rolling back in.

To prevent racking the awning too much keep the difference to two positions. So if the front is set on the first hole the rear can be 1,2or 3.

I think i didn't provide enough information. We actually would like to be able to lower the entire awning so it would not only shed water but be at a lower angle so the sun would be blocked better and the wind was not quite such a factor. Thanks so much for all your replies.

Adjust both arms in that case. Also, if you check your owner's manual and the Carefree awning manual you may not have to reposition the awning before retracting. Mine allows retracting as long as the front and rear are within 3 positions of each other.

So, did squeezing in the buttons on the side of the rails let you accomplish that? It did on my rig.
Also, like mentioned above, I use two different holes on the arms, so it gives the awning a tilt, to allow water to run off one side.

I don't see an adjustment for both sides. We must have a model that doesn't adjust. Thanks anyway

You can always lower the jacks on the left side all the way down so the rig tilts like crazy. Water will run off but moving around the inside and going out the door without falling might be a problem.

They adjust, or at least mine does. There are pins in the arm that can be adjusted to bring the awning down closer to earth.

Many Carefree of Colorado electric awnings are not adjustable.

Very true - I have one. No buttons, no adjustments anywhere.

Ours did too originally, but we have three button holes on side we clicked to third position, and roll it up and in without redoing the position. But, ours automatically tilts to one side when it rains and lets it drain to one side. It’s a very slight tilt but takes care of the runoff. Yours probably does too.
