Greyhawk hydraulic leveller

I've noticed the front hydraulic levellers settle/lower a little overnight, even when on a solid surface like concrete (sinking in the ground is not the issue). Is this normal or should it hold the height?

Hydraulic machine operators will tell you "Hydraulic rams seep or leak". When my coach has been standing over time, I always hit the retract button releasing the E-brake, and before putting the coach in drive.

When out on a site I have noticed a little bit of a difference in level between setting the rams upon arrival and departure...

They shouldn't, you may have air in the system. Neither our 01 DESIGNER "C" with the Big Foot system or our 08 SENECA with the Power Gear system settled.

No, they shouldn't. At least not a noticeable amount. Since you have noticed it, my guess is that one of the seals is leaking. This is fairly common in older (i.e. worn out) levelers because they do wear out. It should not be happening on a 2018 model. Check the top side of your leveler base and see if there is any hydro fluid that has leaked out and down the shaft.

Thanks for the feedback. I haven't noticed any leaks when sitting for more than 2 days in concrete but the front definitely sinks. I've checked the reservoir and it's full. The links to the.pumps are clean as well (no leaks around fittings). I guess that must mean there's some air trapped in the line causing the drop? I only notice it on both front Jack's, but that's not to say the back could be sinking as well.

My 18’ 31FSP has a bad seal on the one leveler. It is possible that a brand new ram could leak. Could be air in the line but look for fluid around the foot/base

Double checked all the feet/couplings/pistons and no signs of leaks after 2 days. Sinks ~ 1" or so a day. I can tell as my driveway is low in the front and when I level the front wheels come off the ground ~ 1". Next morning they are touching the ground and the LCI leveler panel shows front to back off about .1 (not sure what .1 is, but changed from 0.0)
