Greyhawk owners camera questions

I think it makes sense to have side and rear camera on when driving so you can see the wagon train behind and the Yahoo!'s aboutto pass.
Can you make the side and back up cameras stay on when driving ?

depends on the model of your headunit. I personally found the side cameras useless and disabled them. I spent 10 seconds adjusting the mirrors and find them so much better.

the rear camera can be kept on, full time, on our Jensen JRV215 unit.

If you drive faster, you won't have a wagon train behind you

On our 2009 Greyhawk, the Magnadyne head unit had a button at the bottom to switch to the camera full time. The view from our rear camera only showed the immediate rear. Even at a traffic light, I couldn't see the folks behind us.

Ours did not have side view cameras, so can't help there.

I second the opinion that the side cameras are not very useful. The mirrors are excellent. The rear camera can be turned on all the time.

If you can't see the wagon train with your mirrors, something is wrong!

My rear camera is looking 'down' so I can see obstacles when backing up, unless the wagon train is 3 or 4 feet behind my bumper, the camera won't see them either.
