Greyhawk Rear Camera Audio

Trying systems on our new unit and thought the audio wasn't working with the rear camera. Tried it again the other day and found it worked great with the radio volume turned louder. I could hear the birds singing behind me! I learn something new every time I play with this fine MH. Can't wait to take it on the maiden voyage.

Thanks! Didn't even know it had audio....guess I should read through the manual to see what else I'm missing.

I thought we had audio too, but have never figured out how.... Does the mic only come on in reverse?

The mic comes on with the camera. The audio does play very low unless you really crank the volume. Just beware when switching back to the radio and the volumes cranked.

You are so right Kurv. I found that out real quick too. Now I can not only see my wife's frantic hand signals, but can also hear her shouting STOP!

Rear camera audio. Whatta bonus. My last rig had it but I didn't know this unit had it. Crank up the volume aye. Thanks to this thread, I now have rear camera audio.

Rear camera audio? How new of units are you referring to? I didn't think my 2012 has that, but honestly never tried it. Is this just one way, from outside to inside or is it two way?

That's the problem, the manual leaves a lot out. One can usually find out more from this site than the manuals.

Our 2011 Greyhawk has rear camera audio. It's one way from rear to driver. Which to me is a plus. That way the navigator in the rear can't hear the driver say, "What the H--- is he/she/ doing!!!

Just turn up the volume as previously mentioned in this thread.

Not working or not installed? I needed to back in at home today after a trip to the tire store for valve extensions work. I made it a point to turn up the volume but all I got was louder music -- no DW amplified. Not sure if this is a bad thing ... Or something I want fixed........
