Greyhawk ride quality

Evening Guys:

I have a 2008 Greyhawk 31' and am considering air bags for the back to improve the ride. We usually have a 2010 Toyota Highlander on a tow dolly with us. The MH came with Helwig helper springs.

If any one wants to put in their .02 worth, I would love to hear from you.

Many Thanks
The Boltman

We don't have the same chassis but have installed many ride-improvement add-ons to ours and have found this site helpful over the years;

The Hellwig springs are the same thing as adding air helper bags. The hellwigs can be clamped down to provide more "help;" however, good luck getting someone to do it for you.

Doesn't the highlander have a 4WD transfer case with a neutral setting? I'm not even sure how you are towing a 4WD vehicle with 2 up and 2 down.

If you have a neutral for teh transfer case, just change the setup to a flat tow and you won't need any changes to the MH.

Thanks for the response guys. I have a costomer that sells cargo trailers and also Helwig helper springs. I can probably talk him into helping with the adjustment.

Thanks again.

I just completed installing the Safe T plus bar on my GH 31ds w/jride plus package. Significant improvement in the stability. While this is primarily a safety feature, it had a major impact on the constant steering corrections needed while driving. The steering stabilizer that comes with the chassis is about the same one you see on a screen door. LOL! good luck!
