Greyhawk valve stem change out

Asking for your feedback to educate me for an appoint in two weeks at a truck tire shop to get my valve stems replaced/ upgraded. Presently it's the same old story, can't get to the rear dual, RV tech said just leave the liners off when they installed some courtesy extenders. I REALLY dislike cutting my fingers every time I just check the tire pressure!!

I've ordered the TST TPMS to be installed when we do the change over.

I would appreciate your advice on the topic.

My Greyhawk was delivered with braided extensions for the inside duallies. I installed Wheelmaster 135 degrees extensions on the outside tires to make it easier access. I use the TST TPMS 507 feedthru and the 135 degree extension allows installation. This TPMS just barely fits the front with the liners on. But "barely fits" works for me.

When my tires were recalled I took it to a commercial truck/van/rv tire place near Houston. They put new valve stems in that placed them in just the right spot without the need to remove the trim or have a 3rd hand. I did not like the braided hose extensions, because they had too many places to fail. With the new valve stems and "alligator" caps, checking and filling is a snap.

Did you remove the hub caps to install the 135 extensions? I bought some and took a quick look, it seems to still be a tight fit to get them in there!

I just ordered the 135 extensions. I will definitely have to remove the liners to install them.

We've decided to leave the front liners off. Accessing the valve with TPMS on them became an issue. I've thought about painting the steel wheel black. I'd rather have the liners but putting them on after adjusting for air is a PITA.

Just installed the Wheel Master 135 extensions yesterday. Also bought an air compressor (Fini Air Boss at Lowes) and brought all tires up to proper PSI. Feeling comfortable for travel now. TPMS is next.
