Gutter extensions

Anyone install gutter extensions on their MH? I am thinking about putting these on to keep the water from running down the sides of the MH.

I was thinking the same when I looked at my TT yesterday. Thinking of 3/4 pvc 1 1/2 " or maybe even 1 3/4" long. Fasten with short SS screws. Mine was just above a window and this window had a small leak and created some damage which I fixed this summer.

I've seen RV's with sections of clear vinyl tubing pushed onto the existing gutters.

White Hawk came with them and they were great. Will definitely add to the Eagle if she doesn't come with them.

Put a set on the Greyhawk this summer. Installation was straightforward. Be sure to reseal the hole with caulk where you'll remove the end screw from the gutter to slip the spout behind it.

Not all diverters will fit the Greyhawk gutter. The first set I bought at the local Camping World would not slip behind the gutter but were meant to clip onto the end. I purchased these which fit well:

I installed them in the spring. Keeps the water off the seams and reduces the black mark runs. I modified the gutter by cutting it and attaching it to the drain rail / trough.

Thanks for all the responses. I had them on the TT, and it never really hit me until this weekend when I was outside just checking on her. Going to order them this week.

You could just buy 2 sets. I found that the snap on ones are very handy but if you brush up against a limb they will be swept away. So plan on replacing them from time to time.
My new 2011 rig came with longer extensions than the older short ones and they have stayed put pretty well.

I got some from camping world for all four corners. Put them on last year and they have worked great.

Put them on all 4 corners 9/13. Haven't scraped against anything yet, so they're still there. Work great, highly recommend them as a cheap mod. Got the Camco ones from CW.

Anyone found some for seneca? The ones I bought, I believe would require taking off some of the channel or something to install.

Seneca gutters

My 2016 HJ has the left gutter installed upside down ( I never could understand why the A/C condensation ran off the slide ) it took me a minute to figure out why the gutter extensions fit the right side easily but wouldn't fit the left side
What were they thinking??

Les7h I thought the same, what were they thinking?
So last year I emailed Jayco asking the following. "I would like to know the orientation the rain gutters are to be mounted on the top side of my RV. The passenger side appears be installed with channel up, the one on the drivers side has the channel pointing down."

Jayco's Mitchell Grooms response "The orientation of the gutters is proper. They were doing that at the time apparently because of spacing issues with the fascia on the slide out."

I wonder if any of the later models have the same issue as ours?

I use a hack that I saw on YouTube (IIRC). just bought four gator clips at HD/Lowes and used a couple of feet of Romex I had lying around. Split the Romex and crimp about a foot or so of wire to the gator end. Clip the gators to the end of the gutter, or anywhere else you have runoff (side of the awning for instance). The water follows the wire to the end and drips off wherever you aimed it. Works for all but the torrential rains.

I went the cheap route. I clipped on some clothes pins on the gutters. Worked like a charm. Once in a while they blow off but it takes all of 3 seconds to replace.

Has anybody installed these ? I have no existing spouts on my Greyhawk and wondering if these will work with the gutter rails . I have a pack of the Camco gutter extensions and they don’t work, assuming because they are intended for existing rvs with gutters.
