Heatshield Window Reflector!

Hey team! Just wanted to give a positive shoutout / review for the Heatshield Window Reflectors.

https://www.heatshieldstore.com/car-...ord-e450-cargo

These are a perfect fit for windshield and side windows. I opted for the gold version and can't say enough for the quality, as well as the fit. The side windows are an exact match and attach with suction cups.

I know a lot of people do the white outside covers - and I might at some point for long-term storage, but these Heatshields are awesome. Only thing is that I pulled them out out of the windows the first time I was ready to cruise, and tossed them into the over cab bunk. Unfortunately, on a steep incline they slid right off onto the floor.

Both windshield and side windows - total cost was $80 with free shipping.

They were one of the first things we purchased when we bought our RV three years ago. They're still in great shape, they do their job on privacy, and they cut the heat in our motorhome tremendously. They install in about a minute and fit perfectly! We have the front and sides. We've never desired the outside covers. They just seem bulky and that they'd get all kinds of debris on them and then have to be cleaned off. Our Heatshields roll up, are light as a feather, and we throw them on our bed while we're traveling.

Rip, thanks for the info. If you don’t mind, could you post a couple pics of them installed? I assume they just suction cup to the inside of the windows? They do a good job of keeping out outside light? We have a white exterior cover that works fine, buts it’s always a pain to store if it gets wet or covered in dust (we do a lot of boondocking in dusty areas). Thanks in advance!

If I had to do it again, I'd order the windshield version without the rear view mirror, and just take mine off the windshield altogether.

Here is ours with the heatshields on. The 2 side windows have suction cups on them. The windshield stays up with a little help from sun visors. They block a lot of heat and they make the cab very dark. I have an outside cover too, but got tired of cleaning it off all the time. These heatshields go on fast and work great. I removed the rear view mirror and ordered the covers without that cutout.

I have both, the Heatshields for the sun, and I use a internal vinyl curtain, that's used in truck cabs, to close off the windshield at night when we're camping. The curtain has a couple of "S" hooks that takes a only a minute to hook up.

I stayed away from the external white cover, exactly for the reasons mentioned above. Didn't want to deal with a wet, dirty cover and need another thing to clean each time.

I do not recommend the cover with the rear view mirror cutout either. It lets too much light and heat in. I tried calling them for a scrap piece to tape up to cover that cutout. In no uncertain terms it was impossible to send out a scrap. Seriously?... gee thanks heatshield. Otherwise I am pleased with the product.
